This is kind of stupid.

You don’t have to be Palestinian to wear a kuffiyah. A kuffiyah is a scarf that represents solidarity with the Palestenians and the Palestinian resistence movement. And believe it or not, NON-PALESTNIANS CARE AND ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT THE PALESTINIAN-ISRAELI CONFLICT. Shocker, right? By the way, that is complete sarcasm.

I just don’t understand why many feel as if only Palestinians can wear this scarf and if a non-Palestinian isn’t, it’s automatically because they’re trying to be fashionable. Although I do know many that wear the kuffiyah as a fashion statement, and many of them are Palestinians, there are many non-Palestinians, non-Arabs, non-Muslim kuffiyah wearers. This meme is just kind of stupid, that’s all. I just don’t really like the Palestinian conflict being portrayed as only a Palestinian issue and that only Palestinians are allowed to take part in the resistance movement. It’s a human rights issue and it’s about justice.
